Myka,Relocate

When I listened to these guys, I instantly thought of Hot Topic. If you're wondering why, just take a listen for yourself.
Myka,Relocate is a 5 piece entourage from Lafayette, Louisiana. Not only does Louisiana make excellent hot sauce, it also produces amazing musical talent! The vocals have a whine to it, yet there is a touch of screaming. It's not all just screams and whine though, it's actually really good singing. Some synth bands have no vocal talent at all, whereas even though these guys use some synth effects for some songs, that's not all it is. Singer Scott Badon has true singing talent [in other words, his voice is amazing]. If you're a drums fanatic, a guitar lover, or just a music lover in general, these guys will settle your cravings for all of the above. They play a mix between skinny-jean-boy-band music and hard rock influence. I'm no instrument expert, but from what I hear, these drums are amazing, these guitars are outstanding, and this bass connects it all together perfectly, like glue to a magazine picture collage.
The list of their tracks that are on their profile at the moment are:

     - So Civilized

                           - The Most Spectacular of Events

        - ...And of Monsters

     - Hot Apocalypse
- Directions

I'm going with their song, Directions. The name really appeals to me and the sound is to die for; I can't get enough of this song!

Summerlin

Do you enjoy pop punk rock music? If so, I'm pretty sure you'll dig these boys. Shooting out from Leeds, UK, Summerlin is made up of 5 fun guys [just look at the picture, there's an inflatable whale and squirt guns!] with up-beat and catchy music. I actually just came across them tonight and instantly I was like "BAM! This is good stuff!" What more can I say about their music other than it's some good shizz? Housing three of their songs on their Myspace, these guys show great potential to make it big in the scene kid category of music. The glitz and glamor of the pop/punk/rock scene looks pretty good for these young fellows.
Their songs that are displayed are:

-I've got a Future and You're Not In It

-Between Seas and Lovers

-Watch You Dance

Honestly, I can't pick a favorite out of these. There are those bands where sometimes you can't tell the difference between each of their songs, that's not the case for these guys; all of their songs are individual and down right awesome.

The Greatest Heights

The Greatest Heights is a group of guys producing music from Las Vegas, the city of lights, entertainment, and fine dining. Though they only have one song posted on their Myspace, I can tell you now that I would love to hear more. They have an amazing rock sound from the guitars, drums and bass; added to the rock, there's a pinch of emo whine to the vocals. I proclaim them to have serious talent potential. Not only is their song easy to instantly like, but so are all the guys. Everybody knows it's always great to find a band with great music, but a plus when the members are real lookers. :)
Their song currently posted is called:

-Directions

Don't worry though, if you get attached to this song [like I am] you won't have to wait for long for new music. According to their Myspace, new music is coming soon! I for one, am truly excited!

Gun Barrel City

Gun Barrel City is a group of young talented men from Wisconsin, the state of cheese, binge drinking, and the Green Bay Packers. They mix together the sounds of pop, rock, and hardcore, evenly distributing the styles and creating such a great mix that one might mistaken it for the music of the heavens. The singing reminds me of The Used, whereas the instrument parts sound like every other scene heart throb band. To some, that might be a bad thing; on the contrary, I really enjoy the sound.

There are currently only 2 songs posted on their myspace. The 2 songs are:

-The Myth Is True

-Zug Loves Rudy

Both songs are great, but I think my top choice between these two would have to be The Myth Is True.
